Player Spotlight: A Dias Debut
Sporting FC Toronto alumni, Lucas Dias made his Cavalry FC and CONCACAF Champions Cup debut on February 27th, 2O24.
Dias entered the match as a substitute in the 68th minute, giving the Canadian Premier League club some vital energy against a well-organized MLS side in Orlando City. The match ended 3-1, with Orlando moving on to the next round with an aggregate score of 6-1.
Dias recently joined Cavalry FC on loan from Sporting CP and will be at the Calgary-based club until June 2O24.
Player Bio:
Lucas has been at the Sporting CP academy since the age of 11, playing for their U-23’s and B team. Lucas has also represented Canada’s U-23’s in the Olympic qualifiers.

Nike Soccer Camp Presented by Sporting CP: Registration is now open for the first-ever Nike Soccer Camp in partnership with our club. The week-long camp will feature exercises led by Sporting CP Academy coaches.
